Milling
We have a range of 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining centres as well as conventional milling machines. All of our CNC machines are supported with the latest CAD/CAM software. See below for a more detailed description of our capabilities.
Hurco VMX60SR - 5 Axis
Our largest 5 Axis machining Centre has an articulated head and a 600mm rotary table. This makes it ideal for larger components because the head rotates around the part rather than the other way around. It is accurate enough to perform small intricate work and robust enough to handle large heavy components.
Hurco VMX60i - 5 Axis
The Hurco VMX60i machining Centre has a table mounted rotary and tilt 5th Axis unit. The advantage being when it comes to smaller components it is a much quicker and versatile option and when 5 axis machining is not required the unit can quickly be removed to offer a 1500mm x 670mm 3 axis envelope.
4 Axis CNC Machining
Our 4 axis machining facilities have up to 1000mm X axis and 500mm Y axis stroke. The 4th axis facility allows a component to rotate around the x axis for full wrap around or positional machining. We can produce complicated components in less setups and shorter cycle times.
3 Axis Machining
High speed 3 Axis machining capability up to 1000mm on the X Axis and 500mm on the Y Axis. We can also utilise one of our 5 axis machining centres in a 3 axis mode to give us up to 1500mm x 670mm.
